Theme: I Believe in Communion

Fellowship

Read Exodus 12:1–6

Jacob loved the fellowship time after the month’s first Sunday night service. Everyone in the church gathered together to chat and eat. It was a great time loved by all.

Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb for his family, one for each household (Exodus 12:3).

God created human beings to live in fellowship with one another. He made us to live in families and communities. In the New Testament, believers were always gathering together to worship, pray, or fellowship.

However, today people have become separated. Some people live in one place for years and never meet their neighbors. Even those who attend church together might not know each other very well.

You might be in the situation of not knowing the people with whom you worship. Get several people together and have a party. You might make a new friend. At the very least, you will enjoy fellowship with other believers.

Challenge for Today: Plan a party with a Sunday School class from your church.
